Tyler

All of Tyler, from the established neighborhoods of the Azalea District and Charnwood, with their big old oaks and pines, to newer subdivisions in south Tyler and along Loop 323 and the Toll 49 corridor. Older neighborhoods mean older, bigger trees close to houses, which is where most of the careful sectional removal work happens.

Whitehouse

Southeast of Tyler near Lake Tyler. A mix of wooded subdivisions and acreage, with plenty of pines over homes and lakeside properties.

Lindale and Hideaway

North of Tyler along I-20. Lindale has a mix of newer construction and rural acreage, and Hideaway’s lake community is heavily wooded with mature trees close to homes.

Bullard, Flint, Noonday and Gresham

South and southwest of Tyler toward Lake Palestine. These are fast-growing areas where a lot of building happens on wooded lots, so lot clearing and removing trees near new homes are common.

Chapel Hill and Winona

East and northeast of Tyler. These are rural communities with larger tracts, pasture edges and dense woods.

Arp and Troup

Southeast Smith County. Small towns surrounded by timber and farmland.

What changes from area to area

In-town Tyler. Mature trees in small yards, close to houses, fences and power lines. These jobs usually mean climbing and sectional removal, sometimes with a crane, and careful lowering of heavy wood. Expect higher prices per tree than on open acreage.

Lake properties. Around Lake Tyler, Lake Palestine and Hide-A-Way Lake, trees lean toward the water and often hang over docks, boathouses and shorelines. Access for equipment can be tight, and debris may need to be carried out by hand.

Acreage and new construction. In Bullard, Flint, Lindale and rural Smith County, the work is often bigger in scale: lot clearing, removing pines near a new house, fence lines and storm cleanup over several acres. Machines like skid steers and forestry mulchers make large jobs faster and cheaper per tree.

After storms. When a spring storm or ice storm hits Smith County, every tree service is suddenly busy. Trees on houses and blocked driveways get priority. Call early and describe exactly what’s damaged so the provider can triage.

Typical turnaround

Routine removals and trimming are often scheduled within a week or two, while emergency work on houses, vehicles and driveways is handled as fast as crews can get there. Stump grinding can usually be done the same day as a removal if you ask when booking.
